The database page for Michael Stephen Walker
Captain Michael S Walker has occupied a special place in my heart since the day I received his POW/MIA braclet as a school student during the Vietnam War. I waited so long to hear his name called or read his name in the paper as having been returned, but that day never came. The unknown nature of his fate along with all that went down over Laos and other places the government maintains we weren't fighting has had a lasting impact on my life. I have never forgotten him and I never will. I wish I knew him better. Anyone who has information or pictures of his life before the war please feel free to contact me at ltcolmcdonald@gmail.com Michael, you will forever be a part of my life. One day when we meet on the 'other side' when we will no longer suffer pain or loss it will be a great day indeed. You are my hero.
