To all who knew him, a fine officer, and one hell of a communicator.
From a fellow communicator, |
As someone who was only a small child during the Viet Nam war, I can only speculate about the rather idyllic existence that I had during a time of incredible hardship, sorrow and calamity for those men and women who served in the war. The families of these soldiers undoubtedly went through the same hardships and difficult times. As an historian with extensive knowledge of World War Two, I am only now beginning to explore the conflict the United States was involved in during the 1960's and 1970's. I would like to offer my appreciation for the sacrifice this soldier made and the bravery he exhibited during his tour. To his family, I would like to extend my condolences and prayers for them as they have journeyed along in his absence these many years.
