A Note from The Virtual Wall On 15 Apr 1968 the 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry, lost nine men, five from C/1/35 and four from D/1/35. The four men from Delta were SP4 Robert W. Grant, Park Forest, IL SP4 Lauren D. Huerd, Bovey, MN SP4 Larry E. Sloan, Houston, TX PFC Edward A. Rhode, St Louis, MO (Medic; HHC with D/1/35) Remembered by their fellow soldiers of the 35th Infantry - the Cacti Regiment Visit John Dennison's Medics on the Wall memorial which honors the Army Medics and Navy Corpsmen who died in Vietnam.
