This message is for William F. Lindquist who was a childhood friend of mine. Billy is a hometown hero in KCKS. All who knew him loved him. We were in community where our parents were life long friends and their children remained friends as well. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of him. Billy was smart, humble and probably was the nicest person I have ever met. He would have been amazed at how much sadness has surrounded his death. When I visit his gravesite I immediately get a feeling of such peace knowing such a great person lost his life for all of us. No words will ever be able to express the loss we all feel who knew him and for the possibilities of what he would have become if he had lived. Thank you for the chance to say these few words.
