It appears that a road in Bowers Beach was named in his honor. As a resident of Bowers Beach, I've often wondered how the name came to be. Now I understand that it was a result of the sacrifice made by this young man.

Five men from B Company, 1/5 Infantry, were killed during a night action on 16 May 1968; at least 14 others from the Battalion were wounded. The dead were
